SANTA MONICA BAY AUDUBON SOCIETY BLOG 
there was a very good report in one of the natural science magazines several years ago about an indigenous primate group in the interior of the Amazon forest (purportedly being studied by state (brazilian?) anthropologists concerned about the impact of civilation on its presence and well being)… the pictures look very much like sasquatch though not so tall. perhaps tales of this group migrated north and transformed into legend… i don’t know if it was ever replicated or vetted. mom might still have it…
