Ghana’s Ankasa Reserve & Mole National Park | Femi Faminu video
[Posted by Chuck Almdale]
Femi Faminu, who frequently birds with (and without) us at Malibu Lagoon and elsewhere, recently returned from Ghana – again – after some always-new western African birding, plus butterflies, frogs and one of those long creepy things that inhabit our nightmares, all to the tune of some lovely singing & guitar.
Here’s a few things you might want to know about some things depicted:
1. Birds from very small families: Finfoot (3 species), Painted-Snipe (2 species), Hammerkop (1 species).
2. One of the best reasons for travel in the tropics are the local bananas (and other, more mysterious, fruits).
Enjoyable and colorful as always.
