Bats over Los Angeles with Miguel Ordeñana | Natural History Museum’s Curiosity Show
You might have missed bats in the city, but they’re here, and at NHM we’re seeing new species visit us ever since we planted our Nature Gardens. Or actually, hearing them – Miguel detects bats at night using bat detectors that record and identify their calls. We also visit the bats stored in our mammal collection and learn how they fly and catch insects.
This comes from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. If no film or link appears in this email, go to the blog to view it by clicking on the blog title above. If the film stops & starts in an annoying manner, press pause (lower left double bars ||) to let it buffer and get ahead of you. [Chuck Almdale]
